Agora is my (mostly Mandarin) podcast, in which I talk about various topics from a Christian perspective, ranging from philosophy, natural sciences, technology etc., and with varying degrees of depth. I try to go a bit past the layman level, but also preserve the continuity with the layman by explaining some concepts in simpler terms and examples.
The name of the podcast comes from Acts 17:17: "So he [Paul] reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there."
Agora ("τῇ ἀγορᾷ") is the Greek term for marketplace. The Mandarin 「每日在市上」 derives from the Chinese Union Version of the same verse in the Bible, which translates to "in the marketplace every day."
If you are a Christian and want to talk about an idea at depth from a Christian-critical point of view, you are welcome to contact me and schedule a time and method to do this. The episode may be done in either English or Mandarin (or both!). It would expedite things to prepare an outline beforehand for us to follow during recording, or your own complete script.
